This urban park bird walk is geared for adults, but children are welcome (no dogs please).
Evelyn Hallman Pond is frequented by egrets, herons, cormorants and a wide variety of ducks.
Cute coots and maybe a grebe or two could be present.
A variety of songbirds are likely to be heard and seen. Red-tailed and Harris’ Hawks are commonly seen in this park.
Meet your leader, Kathleen McCoy, in the parking lot at 8:00 a.m. Paths and restrooms are handicapped accessible.
Difficulty: 1 — flat easily accessible paths
