The Peregrine Cliffs is an invented name for cliffs on the Salt River, east of the Goldfield Recreation Area. Peregrine Falcons have nested there in the past, with numerous Cliff Swallows, but there are no guarantees that we’ll see either. However, walking the approximate 3/4-mile sandy path to the cliffs, often under towering cottonwoods, usually brings a variety of desert species and in late March, some possible early migrants such as orioles, flycatchers and warblers.
Restrooms available at Goldfield Recreation Area.
Carpool arrangements and a meeting place will be coordinated by the field trip leader prior to the date.
Bring: Binoculars, hat and water.
Leader: Kathe Anderson
