Field Trip: Scottsdale’s Urban Ponds

Leader Kathe Anderson says you can expect t see between 35-45 species, depending on your luck.  The usual winter resident ducks and waterfowl are the targets, but common urban birds help boost the list.  Sometimes Valley rarities such as Red-breasted Nuthatches, Common Mergansers and Bald Eagles have shown up.

Meet 7:30am from Scottsdale, and finish about 10:30ish.

Difficulty: 1-2
