Birds & Brew Coffee Break
A friendly community of dedicated birders awaits you in the field.
Desert Rivers launched the Birds & Brew Coffee Break to help you make new friends while learning about our wide variety of birds.
We first meet at the Riparian Preserve at the scheduled time shown in the blue box.
We meet at the entrance to the preserve near the parking lot, then a leader guides the group around the ponds where more than 200 bird species have been seen over the years.
About an hour and a half later we travel to Brick Road Coffee, formerly Empower Coffee Roasters, located at 1337 S Gilbert Rd., Mesa for coffee, conversation and a short presentation.
“If you can’t make the walk, you are always welcome to join us for coffee/tea and the presentation about two hours after the walk start time.”
