Make Friends, Grow Your Birding Skills, and Impact Our Community

Volunteering for Desert Rivers Audubon is a great way to make friends, expand your birding knowledge and help make our community outreach successful.

Our volunteers experience the fulfillment and joy that comes with seeing their efforts result in tangible results when we connect people with nature.

We provide information and training to ease you into the volunteer position of your choice.

Volunteer Opportunities

Share your birding expertise and enthusiasm by volunteering to lead groups in the field.

We will team you up with an experienced leader until you feel confident leading a small group.

Be the smiling face at our mobile bookstore!

We sell books about birds and the environment and provide information to the public at our Family Bird Walks, monthly Speaker Series meetings and other public events.

In this role volunteers help the chapter raise funds and educate.
