Desert Rivers Audubon hosts guided bird walks around the ponds at Gilbert Riparian Preserve (October through March) and Chandler’s Veterans Oasis Park (November through April.)

Join Our Desert Rivers Family Bird Walks

Guided bird walks begin at 8 a.m. and leave approximately every 15 minutes from the ramadas near the parking areas.

The last bird walk leaves at 11 a.m.

We supply loaner binoculars for adults and kids.

Cost: FREE, no reservations needed, just bring water, sunscreen, and a hat.

Our Nature Store is open from 8 to 11:30 a.m., offering field guides, nature books for all ages, and birding accessories.
