The August Birds & Brew Coffee Break meeting is a field trip to WOW Arizona, a wildlife refuge near Tucson.
(Limited to 8 people.)
WOW Arizona! is a three acre nature preserve tucked into the western flank of the Santa Catalina Mountain foothills near Tucson.
Their secluded location is filled with birds, flowers and native wildlife.
Cost: $10 admission plus $10 for professional photography.
Note: Birds & Brew Coffee Break resumes its regular schedule in September: a guided bird walk on the fourth Tuesday of the month followed by a social gathering and presentation at Coffee Rush, 53 N Val Vista Dr, Gilbert, AZ 85234 [map]
