Join us on Saturday March 1st at Veterans Oasis Park for our free Family Bird Walk. Guides will take groups out starting at 8 a.m., with the last walk stepping off at 11:00. Spread the word to your friends, and bring your kids and family. Loaner binoculars will be available.
Veterans Oasis is a great place to learn about water birds and the songbirds that live in the habitat surrounding the ponds.
Please plan to spend time browsing our excellent selection of birding resources at our Nature Store.
And please consider volunteering – if not for the whole morning, at least for a couple hours. It’s a great opportunity to make friends and help our chapter reach the public.
