Learn about the latest technology in wildlife tracking and Dert Rivers Audubon’s exciting partnership with the Town of Gilbert to erect a Motus station in the Riparian Preserve.

President Theona Vyvial and board member Liz Farquhar will bring you up to speed on the new technology that allows us to track the movements of individual birds and other wildlife. With generous donations from our members, a grant from the National Audubon Society and a partnership with the Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department, we now have a Motus receiving station in the preserve. Data collected will be invaluable to researchers!

Registration for the Zoom program opens in July.
