Bring friends and family to our free family bird walk at Veterans Oasis Park on February 1. Meet us at the ramada closest to the south parking lot to join a group going out with an expert guide. Guides will take groups out starting at 8 a.m., with the last walk stepping off at 11:00. Loaner binoculars will be available.
In our mobile Nature Store, we have a great selection of books for kids from toddlers to young adults, as well as field guides and other outdoor titles. Best of all, your purchase supports our chapter.
This is also a great opportunity to get involved. We welcome new bird walk leaders, helping hands for set up, customer service folks to tend the Nature Store and workers to pack up. Come make a friend and leave feeling good that you’ve done something to help birds.
