Start the new year with a resolution to spend more time outdoors. On January 11, join Margaret Dyekman at Papago Park for good views of egrets, herons, cormorants and a wide variety of ducks. Songbirds will be heard and seen in the trees. Red-tailed and Harris’ Hawks frequently soar over this park. We might even see an Osprey catch a fish.
This trip is for birdwatchers of all skill levels, first time and experienced birdwatchers. Let Margaret show you how easy it is to birdwatch in an urban park. Margaret is a life-long birder and author of Backyard Birding in Northern Arizona.
