At the November Monthly Spear meeting, Kyle McCarty will update us on the population of Bald Eagles in Arizona and the projects in place to support the birds from egg to adult. McCarty is the eagle field projects coordinator for the Arizona Department of Fish and Game. He coordinates and implements surveys, banding, mortality monitoring and rescues. He also provides training and field support to the Arizona Bald Eagle Nestwatch program.
Attend in person at the Southeast Regional Library, 775 N Greenfield Rd, Gilbert. The program starts at 7 p.m. Come early for light refreshments and shop in our Nature Store.
