Field Trip: Evelyn Hallman Pond at Papago Park

FreeThis urban park bird walk is geared for adults, but children are welcome (no dogs please). Evelyn Hallman Pond is frequented by egrets, herons, cormorants and a wide variety of ducks. Cute coots and maybe a grebe or two could be present. A variety of songbirds are likely to be heard and seen. Red-tailed and Harris’ Hawks are commonly seen in this park.
Meet your leader, Kathleen McCoy, in the parking lot at 8:00 a.m. Paths and restrooms are handicapped accessible.
Difficulty: 1 — flat easily accessible paths
